Bugatti's new Niniette 66 yacht to match Chiron supercar

Calling all wealthy holidaymakers: there’s a new multimillion-pound toy to play with.

Bugatti – the French manufacturer behind one of the world’s fastest production cars – has launched a new luxury yacht, the 66-ft Bugatti Niniette 66, based on the design of its £2.1m Chiron supercar.

The carbon fibre, marble and leather-decked out model, which can reach top speeds of 44 knots, boasts everything from its own Jacuzzi and champagne bar, to a fire pit and lavish double bed.

While the price of the limited-edition model – crafted in partnership with Palmer Johnson yachts – is yet to be released, the company indicated in 2015 that the smallest models would start at £1.5million.

Only 66 of them will be made in total, and the first ones will be delivered to customers in March 2018.

The James Bond-worthy vessel features a spacious open deck, with carbon fibre, finest leather and naturally blue morta oak wood as the dominating elements.

The lower part of the deck houses a combined Jacuzzi, sun pad and champagne bar in the middle, flanked by two social areas on the side.

Etienne Salomé, Design Director at Bugatti said: ‘The Niniette is a genuine member of the Bugatti family. Even from a large distance when entering a port, the Niniette will always be recognized as a true Bugatti.’

This project’s roots go back more than 80 years, when company founder Ettore Bugatti, from Milan, developed racing boats and yachts. Niniette was the pet name of his daughter, Lidia.
