April Love Geary cosies up to boyfriend Robin Thicke at Beyond The Flood movie screening


He’s been keeping it low-key after debuting his fuller physique last week.

And Robin Thicke happily allowed his girlfriend April Love Geary to steal the spotlight as they attended the Leonardo DiCaprio spearheaded documentary screening, Before The Flood.

Arriving at the Bing Theatre at LACMA on Monday, the brunette beauty, 21, dressed to impress in a trendy keyhole cut-out dress as Robin, 39, covered up in an all-black ensemble.

Like a true fashionista she expertly balanced a black leather jacket over her shoulders while a thin black choker complemented her slicked back hair and natural beauty look. 

Meanwhile, her Blurred Lines beau kept it simple in a black top, trousers and coat, before adding a pop of colour with a sky-blue scarf draped around his neck.

Robin unveiled a fuller frame during his Tidal X: 1015 performance onstage Brooklyn’s Barclays Center last week.

The R&B crooner – whose waistcoat strained over his larger midsection – appeared to have gained weight since last year.

However, the talented performer seemed in high spirit alongside his beautiful girlfriend as they joined an array of celebrities for the screening, including Leonardo himself.

The Hollywood hunk looked dapper in a statement navy suit, along with a crisp white shirt and matching tie as he promoted National Geographic’s latest environmental documentary.  

In his new doc the A-list megastar, who won this year’s best actor Academy Award for his role in The Revenant, takes viewers around the world to meet experts and politicians in order to reveal the scale of climate change, the consequences of inaction and potential paths towards a solution.

Speaking in London last week, Leo said that he wanted to focus on young people with the film.

‘You can listen to pundits but ultimately we have to listen to the scientific community,’ he told BBC Newsbeat.

‘As we have stated many times in this movie, if you don’t believe in man-made climate change then you don’t believe in gravity.

‘We also present solutions and this is going to take everyone from all walks of life, from everywhere around the world.’ 

The likes of Tyrese Gibson, Thora Birch, Wolfgang Puck and the doc’s director Fisher Stevens also attended the event.
